Antique Original Record German Injection Syringe + Needles in Steriliser Case

This kit contains one glass and metal 10cc syringe, one stainless steel syringe plunger, two hypodermic needles in case/applicator/remover in a stainless steel sterilisation case.

The glass shaft of the syringe is cracked and the plunger is stuck in place inside the syringe. The tin shows some tarnish, especially on the lid.

Kits like this often belonged to traveling physicians. The metal and glass syringes were able to be easily sterilised on the go by adding water to the case with the instruments inside and bringing it to the boil over a flame.

Sterilisation box measures 113mm x 68mm x 35mm. Syringe with needle and plunger measures approximately 160mm when assembled.
