Catgut suture was once a widely used material in surgical settings. Catgut makers usually use sheep or goat intestines. Despite the name, catgut manufacturers do not use cat intestines.

Maker: Prepared at the London Hospital, distributed in Australia by Messrs. F.H. Faulding & Co. Ltd.

Condition: Sealed box with some staining and damage to the labels. Inside contents in-tact but unseen.
