Vintage Lambskin Royal Arch Mason Apron
The Royal Arch Degree is the climax of Ancient Craft Masonry and Masonic Symbolism. It is described as “the root and marrow of Freemasonry.”
This is a vintage example of the Royal Arch Mason apron. It features adjustable elastic strap with gold plated snake hardware, tan leather backing with a lambskin front, grosgrain ribbon trim, gold plated Triple Tau emblem and gold plated tassels with enameled tassel bars. It measures 37cm wide and 30cm high.
Overall it is in fairly good condition. The leather has some marks and discolouration, the ribbon has come away from the stitching partially at the front, there is some oxidisation and tarnish present on the tassels and metal hardware, and the previous owner has marked their name in blue ball point pen on the inside of the strap.
